Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) Kombewa Campus Overview
Background Information
Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) Kombewa Campus is situated off Kisumu- Bondo – Bar Korwa road, opposite the Kombewa Chief’s office. It is 500 meters west of the Kombewa Deputy County Commissioner’s offices in Seme South Central Location, Kombewa division, Seme Sub County, Kisumu County.
It was started in January 2015 courtesy of the support of the KMTC Board of Directors, the leadership of Seme Constituency spearheaded by the area Member of Parliament Dr. James Nyikal, the Kombewa Sub-County Hospital Management, and Seme Community Professional leaders. The National Government – Constituency Development Fund purchased land for its development.
Construction of the Campus commenced in July 2016 and in September 2016 it admitted its first students to pursue Diploma in Medical Laboratory Sciences.
