Details of Windsor Golf Hotel Kakamega Vacancy Positions & How to Apply.

Golf Hotel Kakamega seeks to hire an IT Officer to manage the IT functions of the hotel.

Reporting to the Operations Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day operations of the IT department.


  • Manage and Support Software Solutions, Cloud Hosted Applications including email Network Infrastructure, Servers and other business software.
  • Document all support requests and resolve incidents in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and Optimize LAN connectivity and Internet Connectivity.
  • Prioritize Business Application bandwidth
  • Monitor and Optimize Firewall
  • Regular software updates, performance checks ,security checkups, Power/UPS checkups
  • Manage Computers, Laptops, and Mobiles
  • Ensure daily ERP Database Backup, user Data Backup
  • Maintain user confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Support and Train Users on various software in use
  • Responsible for the server room and all the equipment installed there.

Key Reporting

  • Daily Activity Report;
  • Weekly Activity/Support Reports;
  • Training/Support schedules.


  • Degree in Information Technology
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Information Technology in a similar role
  • Experience managing an ERP system
  • Experience with managing Office 365
  • Experience managing IT infrastructures and data connectivity
  • IT project management experience
  • Problem solving ability
  • Exemplary planning skills
