talented and dynamic professional to fill in the following position based in Nairobi: Direct Sales Representative
Requirements
Reporting to the Head of Sales, the incumbent will be responsible for generating sales, prospecting sales leads, maintaining good customer relations, managing debt collection and generating related reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing new business through various sales prospecting methods.
- Planning, preparing and presenting persuasive approaches and pitches to potential clients.
- Generating sales and meeting weekly, monthly, or yearly targets.
- Assist in the development and execution of sales and marketing plans.
- Building and maintaining strong and healthy relations with customers through regularly
keeping in touch with them. - Managing debt Collection.
- Conducting marketing and online surveys to identify emerging marketing shifts and
competitions. - Generating weekly sales report.
Key Qualifications, Experience, Skills and Competencies
- Degree/Diploma in sales and marketing or any related field
- At least one (1) year’s sales experience
- Basic IT skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques
- Good understanding of sales cycles and sales techniques
- Attention to detail – achieve thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing a task
- Customer focus – recognize both internal and external customers’ needs and balance
available resources and skills to strive to exceed them. - Problem solving skills – able to break down problems into their essential elements, stay
focused on the issue, formulate and assess alternatives
