The Position
Lori is seeking a hands-on Front End Engineer to join our Product team. The ideal candidate has prior experience in building a Web/Mobile from the ground up; possesses expert knowledge of Software usability; loves responsive mobile-first development and has high confidence levels in handling end-to-end frontend UI/UX implementations.
Responsibilities
- Developing new user-facing features using React.JS / React Native
- Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use (experience with micro-frontends preferred)
- Creating and translating designs and wireframes into high quality code
- Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
- Ensure high quality graphic standards and brand consistency
- Work closely with Backend engineers to wire
- API’s to Frontends and advise possible API redesigns to improve Frontend performance.
Requirements
- BSc in Computer Science or Math
- 4 – 7 years of relevant experience
- Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them
- Experience with markup languages, including HTML, CSS, pre-processing platforms such as SASS, Minifiers and Bundlers.
- Understanding of cross-browser testing, compatibility issues as ways to work around them
- Understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.
- Expertise in ReactJS, ReactNative, JavaScript, NodeJS
