Background Information
Wajir Campus was established in 2016 offering a Certificate course in Kenya Enrolled Community Nursing. The Campus is situated opposite Wajir Referral Hospital, along the airport highway in Wajir County.
Wajir campus currently offers a Certificate in Community Health Nursing and plans to introduce other programmes in the near future.

We plan to have community health assistance, health records.
Facilities
-Well-furnished administration block that houses the staff offices.
-Hostels for both male and female.
-Skills laboratory for students’ practical sessions
Student Population
Currently, the Campus has a student population of 318 which is likely to go higher in the next intake.

Clinical training sites
The students go to their clinical sites to the following hospitals and health centers: –
-Wajir Referral hospital
-Garissa Referral hospital
-Madogo health center in Tana River
Clubs, Societies and Sports
Students participate in various sporting activities, clubs and societies such as indoor games, football, volleyball, and athletics. For societies there is Muslim union.
