Job Description

Greenspoon Kenya is the online store for people who care about what they eat. Founded in September 2016, Greenspoon was born of a desire to support artisan producers in Kenya, and at the same time provide increased transparency to consumers around the provenance of their food. We are proud to be the first online retail store specifically geared towards showcasing high quality, artisan products, largely made in Kenya. Greenspoon aims to change the way people shop for food: by providing greater transparency, we aim to foster greater consciousness around how and what to buy. We want to see our economy and our local producers grow with greater support from consumers.

ROLE DESCRIPTION / RESPONSIBILITIES

The Warehouse Project Lead will be responsible for:

Setting quality standards, procedures and SOPs for an efficient warehouse function
Procedures for ensuring short expiries are well managed
Ensuring 0 stock variance
Set up innovative warehouse technologies to reach company goals
Train team on effective and efficient warehouse processes
Manage stock levels, ensure FEFO
Execute continuous stock take processes

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s level+ with excellent academic achievement
2+ years work experience in complex warehousing
Experience in food handling (frozen, ambient, chilled) is a massive plus
Excellent problem solving skills
Super analytical and communicative
Perfectionistic and driven to implement solutions end to end
Hyper structured
Excellent in working with Excel and ERP systems
